(To Nikita)
For so long I have been waiting to hold your little hand
And today in a few hours I will have you in my arms
The train moves among the icy tracks so slow and as far as the eye can see there is nothing but white snow
All night I have traveled in this old train, the wood panels and the velvet seats remind me of an old opulence now gone
Where you live is cold and lonely and I brought you new clothes the last pictures of you made clear to me how much you needed them.
You, who are so frail and sick, born deformed and rejected at birth...abandoned in a dark lonely orphanage..alone and scared.
I am here baby and I promise to help no worries anymore
Mommy has arrived.
